BMI Range Description
BMI < 18.5 A BMI less than 18.5 is classified as underweight.
18.5 ≤ BMI < 25 A BMI greater than or equal to 18.5 and less than 25 is classified as normal.
25 ≤ BMI < 30 A BMI greater than or equal to 25 and lower than 30 is classified as overweight.
BMI ≥ 30 A BMI equal to or over 30 is classified as obese.
